• How do you approach a family shoot?
  I tailor shoots to what you are looking for. I often meet folks at one of the many lovey backdrops that Charleston provides from the historic downtown streets to our parks to our beaches. We stroll around and use whatever environment as our backdrop. These photos are a little more posed, but I am never aiming for stiff. Other times, I am asked to spend time at a family’s home shooting in a more documentary manner. Playing in the yard, reading books in the nursery, cuddling with the family pup. These shoots are more about documenting life than getting the organized holiday card photo, but I do always aim to get a few classic posed shots. I’m game either way!
  

• Do you charge travel fees?
  I generally don’t charge travel fees for shoots within Charleston. However, locations that will take me longer than 30 minutes to get to may require an additional fee.
  

• When do you offer beach shoots?
  I offer beach shoots at golden hour as it is my favorite light. Any other time on the beach for the most part can be quite harsh light. Golden hour is the last hour of daylight before sunset.
  

• Can I purchase additional photos beyond what is included?
  Additional color-corrected photos are $10. They will be delivered in both color and B&W.
  

• Can I purchase the whole gallery of photos?
  You can purchase all additional photos in your gallery beyond what was included for 50% off. All purchased photos will be color-corrected and delivered in both color and B&W.
  

• Where is the studio?
  We have a home studio on James Island. We usually have classic white and black backdrops on hand and have a rotating collection of other colors. Please let us know if you have a specific color in mind. We may have it on hand and if not, we can source it for a fee.
