Musical Duo's Unique Charleston Wedding

We shoot a lot of weddings in Charleston, so it is super cool for us to get to shoot a day that has a really unique feel. Enter McKenzie and Elliott. These cats are one of the few couples we worked with who actually live here in town, so their day had much more of a local vibe. They had their ceremony in a space downtown that had recently served as a yoga studio. It was basically a giant light box, so as the sun set during their ceremony, the colors and the mood in the room were so cool. Then the party moved a few minutes down the road to The Royal American - a bar and music venue that many of us frequent. McKenzie and Elliott are a musical duo (amongst many other things), and we had previously shot one of their shows at The Royal American. It was a perfect spot for them to celebrate with all the friends and fam. They called upon so many talented friends to keep it going from different musical artists to dancers to comedians. Having worked with them a few times in the music world and also just being buds, we were honored when they asked us to document such a special celebration. Blah blah blah, too many words, check out the photos now :) We love you, M + E!
